Had a blast!!! Went with an amazing group of friends and got sun burnt. The water was cold but felt great in the hot sun.

My boyfriend and I came out on Thursday for the six and had a blast! It was just the two of us kayaking and it was my first experience in one ever. I mastered it and we finished in about 3.5 hours. We had so much fun and realized we needed something longer, thous the 9 mile. We recruited some friends and made our way back on Friday. We have been out many times, and keep coming back, the staff is friendly and helpful. Two things I think could be improved is parking which understand you work with what you have, and the place you shore at when your trip is over. Maybe a concrete walk to the side or something. But even with that we love Scenic
We did the 6 mile canoe rental and we had a good time because of the people we were with but our canoe sank because of a crack in the bottom. We tried to drain it throughout the experience because we were taking on water the whole time but I guess we weren't fast enough but that shouldn't matter we shouldn't have to worry about sinking in the canoe. Before we even got in the canoe we asked the staff if said crack would cause us to take on water and they had told us we would be fine and that the crack had been patched....I gu... read more
