My wife and I moved here from Indiana. Where they told us for her to finish chemotherapy and go home and live with her stage 4 breast cancer. After being treated by her team of doctors at SCCA we are happy to announce she is Cancer Free and A SURVIVOR!
You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Getting treatment for cancer is tough enough and you don't need more battle to fight at the motel/hotel. I have not used all the resources yet, but If you need something, they either have it or can get you there to get it. Always super clean. Shuttles to take you to your appointments and to shop for groceries.
A calm, restful place for patients and families facing cancer treatment. Rooms are efficiency style, with sinks and microwaves. Full kitchen facilities are shared. Some social and educational events, and weekday transportation to SCCA and UWMC. Be prepared for some group living, with some responsibility to clean up after yourself in the shared kitchen and in your room. Daily and long-term stays available.
Excellent facility to stay and patient services..they thought of everything
This was my home away from home for 7 months...although it was under terrible circumstances, I met so many amazing people, staff included! It is such a welcoming place to be, and I my family and I took home so many wonderful memories. Glad to be back home now, but in a way, I miss it :)
My mom has been here for over a month and the ppl here are very nice, and a couple times the staff has gone over and above to help me and my daughter since I came out to take care of my mom.
Best home away from home! Been here for three months and love it here every day.
