In response to Scarlett Properties, for their response to my previous review. No my biggest issue with this company is not the state of NC tenant/landlord laws and tenants rights. My issue with your business and businesses alike, that takes advantage of the the lax laws in this state. And once you get a tenant locked in, it seems that you think your job is done and they're stuck with things not being fixed or addressed. I’m leaving this review to attempt to highlight the level of service, professionalism and just plain kindness I’ve received from everyone I’ve dealt with recently from Scarlett Properties. They have gone above & beyond to help me manage some of my most challenging property/tenant issues. Special thanks to Jadea, Samantha, Nikki and Rudy. Very responsive to any questions that I had.
Updated: I laughed hard at their response. They didn't get rent in November bc of MOLD in the house. They didn't get rent in December bc I paid them more than half and then they lock the portal and force you to drive to Hickory to deliver money orders and deal with that rude little girl at the front. We made every attempt to pay them and they refused to allow us in to the portal to pay. We took our 5000 dollars and got a new place! Ask and read lease agreement clauses before pay application fee.The terms of lease is unbalanced, focus-more on landlords benefits. They have fast response and nice.
