Scardino's Good food - great marinara sauce, garlic bread, and chicken diablo!! - nice ambiance, small, reasonable prices, and good service. Have never had the pizza, but before the place was sold by the family, that take out phone was jumpin'!!
Great Italian! My family love Scardino's. It is small but they always go out of their way to make room when it is crowded (which it usually is). The food is always great and the service is excellent. Make reservations for large parties. The early bird special is a great value too! This place has a nice local feel and they always make you feel welcome.
Scardino's Restaurant is excellent This place has THE BEST Italian food and the greatest service in the south bay. A little small and the crowd can get big on the weekends. It is located in a small mini-mall on Torrance Blvd so location is not best, but the food makes up for everything.
Scardino's This is a gourmet Italian restaurant that has dine in as well as take out. They also do catering. There pizza's are delicous. My favorite is the Sicilian Pizza. It's made with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes. Yummy!
Certainly among one of the better Italian restaurants I've eaten in anywhere. I can and do highly recommend them!
Great Food - Family Operated – I have been to many South Bay Italian Restaurants over the past 30 years. Many of the best have closed after the owners retired. One of the few restaurants still around with that family operated flair and flavor is Scardino's Italian Restaurant. Scardino's knows how to make every dish right. Do yourself a favor and stay away! – I have been to Scardino's twice. The first time I thought maybe it was what I ordered...but this time we tried to stick with the classics. I had the tortellini with peas and mushrooms and my husband had the pasta carbonara. First of all both pasta dishes were overcooked. My cream sauce tasted just like plain cream!
