Excellent clinician, collaborative and informative; puts me at ease
I am very familiar with Kara, she's been my Primary for many years, during which time we have come to a good understanding of how I need to keep myself healthy despite some of my personal trying conditions and even as they change. I'm aging. She's watched me age. To me she embodied "Hello Humankindness" even before the VMFH ad campaign! She's now the primary provider for my spouse.
Kara is awesome! Spends time. Listens. Helps me look at things objectively. Helps with decisions on meds and care for my health, physically and mentally.
I have recommended Kara Scanlan to many friends and my own daughter is also a patient.
She offered input but ultimately let me be in charge of my treatment plan.
