Best brunch around! Been there a few times and love it!!
Love, love, Scalia's!! Food is always great, staff is always attentive, Colleen is my favorite waitress!! Remembers my family's favorites every time we come! All of the Scalia's are hands on & work to make the place warm & inviting. Keep up the good work!
By far one of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at. I've had a lot of Italian food but nothing even comes close. It was so good that we came back the next night for dinner again.
Have been wanting to get to Scalia & Co & finally did for lunch yesterday & I have to say WOW! The amount of food given for the $9.95 lunch special was amazing! Caesar salad starter was huge & it was excellent. My mom & I both had the manicotti with the Sunday meatball lunch entree & it was delicious!! (the single meatball was very big) Cannot wait to go back! (Especially for Oysters...$.99 during Happy Hour!) Thinking dinner soon with my husband also!
Went to Scalias to celebrate my friends birthday. It was her first time there. Our food was delicious! Service was terrific! We had a great time!
Being from the same Bronx neighborhood (Country Club), the food is spot on to a classic Italian kitchen anyone growing up in NYC (especially the Bronx) would remember. Classic dishes; but the "Craft" aspect is key as the chef(s) are able to put together signature dishes. Cavatelli Picante as an example comes to mind. Scalia has the most superb Italian food! I ordered the veal cutlet parmesan and they say if the veal is good in a restaurant there rest of the menu is good. well to say the least the veal was superb. My meal was excellent. When you walk in there the ambiance makes you feel like you're either in Little Italy or in Manhattan down in SoHo. My daughters bridal shower was here this morning. It was a Sunday Brunch and it was for 54 people. I could not have had a better shower anywhere in Monroe and I have had 2 other showers. Everything and everyone from the minute we walked in could not of been better. The staff treated us with the most respect and such pleasantness !
