Morally reprehensible. I attempted to buy a property from this agency and the agent for the house bought it for herself out from under my family. I'm not even sure if the property owners got our offer, because the agent shut it down and bought it herself before we could counter. I never imagined I would have to bid against one of their own agents? Jennifer, this is not ethical. This practice is completely unprofessional and possibly illegal. Completely unethical, avoid at all costs. They bought a property out from under me and my family after our representatives had done all the work and submitted an offer. And this is after it had been on the market for six months so they had plenty of time to act. It may also have been illegal to do so and we will most definitely be exploring that avenue.
