Never have I had an issue at this walk in until now, all of a sudden they don’t take optum, I have been going to this walk in clinic( before they moved ) when needed over the years because they always called optum for approval and I got the care needed. I brought my 3-year-old to the SBL Mattoon Walk In Clinic and followed the posted check in process by taking a ticket and waiting. While we were sitting there, another patient was called back for care by staff, and shortly after, a man who arrived after us was checked in immediately and even told who his provider would be. Update: 7/23/25 - based on the fact that I have been waiting since 5/30/25 for said infusion from Dr. Nehemiah Tan, based on blood work written by and sent to where I choose to have my infusion done! Dr. Tan is my doctor, who is my rheumatologist, in this Mattoon SBL location ofc. Mattoon, - (Blood work completed by SBL Dr. Tan) & still waiting on my first infusion to take place at HSHS, St. Johns, Cancer Center, In the Pavilion - Springfield, IL. (I called twice to Dr. N.
