Update: 7/23/25 - based on the fact that I have been waiting since 5/30/25 for said infusion from Dr. Nehemiah Tan, based on blood work written by and sent to where I choose to have my infusion done! Dr. Tan is my doctor, who is my rheumatologist, in this Mattoon SBL location ofc. Huge shout out to Christina and her staff! Amazing, attentive, straight forward and got solutions to our problem quite quickly. Received follow up calls asking about progress as well as an early Sunday morning call with the test results. Way to go SBLHC!!!
Stephanie was great !!! today explaining Everything based on how frustrated I was and very happy all at the same time (about the long process to get "something approved") and waiting on a call back... and in my case it's my 1st infusion based on my very rare & deadly autoimmune disease at any given time and yes, thought I actually was dying in April and May based on how I felt. One of the doctors at this clinic is a joke. She shouldn’t be working with children. She couldn’t spot a simple hand foot and mouth disease. She was visibly frustrated with my toddler because he didn’t want his ears checked and was throwing a tantrum. She then diagnosed him with an ear infection which we later found out from his pediatrician was a misdiagnosis. but she couldn’t be bothered to check his rashes or mouth like I asked her to.
