In 1956, Carmela and Gennaro Sbarro opened the doors to their Italian salumeria in Brooklyn. Carmela “Mama” Sbarro made pizza slices for shift workers looking for a quick meal. Her slices were so popular that they soon opened a second location focused solely on pizza. Eat here if you want to chew on METAL SCRAPS and SCREWS. Almost chipped my tooth on this, 100% never returning. Don’t go here - seriously. And please share, this is a huge safety hazard.

If I could give this place a zero star, I would. This was one of the absolute worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We ordered our pizza at 12:38 PM and waited patiently, only to realize at 1:20 PM that it still hadn’t arrived. When we asked about it, our server Jamilla admitted she forgot our order. No apology, no remorse, just complete indifference.
