We paid for free IRS transcripts and when we discovered we could have accessed them on our own for free we were told the $1200 we paid was for their expertise. We paid an additional $700 to have our taxes prepared. Our tax refund ended up being thousands of dollars more in our favor, that SBA calculated incorrectly and we were very grateful the IRS caught it. To date we aren’t sure what “expertise” we paid for at SBA.
