Went with a big group for my bachelorette (8 people). The food is good. What I didn’t like: before appetizers, our server said he’d heard we were celebrating and suggested we try a small bite of ice cream as a palate cleanser. Because he tied it to the celebration, we all assumed it was on the house. It wasn’t. It showed up on the bill at $24 per person. Since 2021 I have made multiple trips from Denver to Santa Fe just to have Sazon. I have sung it's praises and told any one that would listen, Sazon has my favorite plates of food in the world and it's worth a six hour drive from Denver. Today unfortunately I will never visit Sazon again. The duck I ordered was like eating shoe leather, it's the only time I have left uneaten food on a plate at Sazon. The food, drinks and service are exceptional. It is an amazing culinary experience that transports you to Mexico. The mile sampler that is served at the beginning gives you a beautiful hint of the culinary flavors that you are about to experience.
