I have been seeing Dr Saymeh for several years. He has helped me with several issues I have with my digestive system. He is a very amiable person, he is kind and very knowledgeable. I have learned what my issues are from him and he takes good care of me. I will continue to be his patient and I recommend him highly.
Dr does not listen. He has his own agenda and is very non-chalant. The wait for appointmen's is always at least an hour. This would be worth it if he had sincere concern and knowledge.
Hv had appointments i feel was wasted time, he does not listed to your needs, if im in the hospital i hate for them to call him,he comes off as its a burden or wasted time for him to come, rush and ignore whats going on with you in the hospital..staff is really good at making appointments tho. Been needing infusion over a yr now still havent gotten it, and that causes my body to flare so im at the hospital ( admitted)every month. Staff is clueless on how to get treatment started...never go there
He never listened or spent sufficient time with me but his nurse practitioner was the opposite so I kept going there. Just called to make an appointment and found out she is no longer there so I won't be either.
Very pleased with my office visits and my procedure at Perry Hospital. Appointments were timely and waiting time was minimal. Dr. Saymeh was very kind and personable. Thank you.
I would not recommend Dr. Saymeh. I took my daughter to see him, and all 3 times we had to wait for over an hour. When we finally saw the doctor, he spent only 5-10 minutes with us and did NOT listen to what my daughter was telling him. He said that he wanted her to have a procedure done which he didn't explain at all, and he said he wanted her to take a new medication which he didn't explain either. Then he left the room and didn't come back. We were pretty angry.
During a hospital stay, Dr Saymeh insisted on a procedure that had no medical benefit to my mother. When we refused the procedure and suggested an alternative recommended by her primary physician, he would not do it because he was concerned about his professional liability for her care in the future rather than her immediate needs.
Dr. Saymeh is very friendly and personable. That makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. I feel very confident in his knowledge in his field. I do put my health in his hands, so trust has to be there. However I do agree that lab and test results should be given before your next 3 month appointment. But I also feel if results came back negatively, someone would notify me. I would recommend Dr. Saymeh to family and friends.
Took two months after procedure to get a diagnosis and prescription. He doesn't listen very well. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor.
