The wait time is minimal. He spends as much time as needed with each patient. He talks to you like an equal. Very thorough and remembers his patients information. Caring and compassionate.
Very conscientious and thorough in his assessment. Really takes time to listen, reviews previous visit in comparison to current situation. Personable and caring. Spends whatever time is needed with each patient's circumstances. So very grateful that he is my husband's doctor.
Tried making appointment for new patient 3 times. Offices was closed with no note twice.
My husband is in the progress of moving to another doctor. We have found Dr. Thwing. MD and from what I have gathered is a very caring and competent doctor. We made the schedule for a ne patient appointment 2 months ahead. So yesterday finally came , his appt date. As soon as we arrived, they told us that they do not accept his insurance card. Very attentive. Asked all pertinent questions about my health since last seeing me. Concerned with even social impact on my current health. Coordinating care with my other providers. Explained in detail with computer analysis as well as video results of tests done in office that day. Discussed his concerns are & tests he wants done to rule out other diagnoses & when to return to him. I would gladly recommend Dr. Estes to anyone needing pulmonary care.

Terrible saw this dr. often had severe gallbladder pain for 6 yrs was ignored until I pushed for a surgeon that took him 3 days to refer me. Gallbladder was ready to burst w large stones He dropped me 2 weeks later as a patient saying I did not comply now I cannot find a new doctor. He ignored my 3rd stage kidney disease & argued with me over thyroid med.I have NO THYROID GLAND He never presctribed what I needed I ordered my own T-3 T-4 combo from Canada that worked he didn't like that. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a health care provider. More than once my labs were sent to out of network providers. Because of this I was responsible for the cost of labs. I contacted the office, and they told me they never check to see if someone is in network or not. They said that is typical practice. My doctors in the past have always used my in-network providers. All doctors I have spoken with, and my insurance company told me that is not standard practice to use out of network providers. This practic... read more
