I was referred to Dr Sawyer, ENT through Veteran Affairs since the VA does not have an ENT in Austin. I spoke with Erica and scheduled an appointment for the following week with no issue (or mention of any fees being owed). But when I showed up to the appointment, they told me they would not see me unless I paid a "no-show" fee from 3 years prior which never happened and confirmed I had seen Dr Sawyer within the past two years numerous times with no issue, or mention of a late fee being owed. Don’t trust this facility
honestly, their hours are so limited. i work full-time mon-fri from 7am-4pm... and the audiologist is only available on mondays and wednesdays until 2:30 pm. i've already missed too much work because of this. and they aren't transparent about their pricing. ive gotten mail saying i owe $65 for an appt that i already paid $300 for without any warning.
Went into to get a mass removed from my sinus and have my deviated septum corrected. Hoped I would be able to breathe better afterwards. Instead, I found it harder to breath through the left side of my nose, my right nostril now collapses when I breath deeply, my septum re-deviated within a month after surgery, and a second cat scan revealed he never even removed the mass from my sinus. Very bad experience.
Dr. Sawyer and team went above and beyond to help my family member with a serious medical issue. We really appreciate his team and the careful consideration he had when evaluating and supporting the emergent health issue and now, the recovery and ongoing health of my family member. Thank you!
