We had our teenage son's birthday party there today. It was a field trip/birthday party with 31 of his classmates and friends. They had an amazing time and experience. They learned, were outdoors, it was hands on and the only time they used their phones was for pictures. Absolutely recommend for field trip and birthday parties. My boyfriend and I brought a baby squirrel we found here and the people were so nice!! We called so many other places trying to find help for Billy (the squirrel) and no one would help him! When we called this place they said we could bring him right away. I'm so happy he has a safe place now. You can tell they love and care for these animals like Billy.
RecommendedGreat non-profit. Animals each had their own stories for us to learn as to why the nature center is their home. Love that they only keep animals that can no longer survive in the wild. We took 3 young toddlers and they seemed to enjoy observing and exploring. It is definitely more cost effective than going to any of the high trafficked zoos and I love that our money is going straight to the well being of the animals!
Absolutely unacceptable leadership.
