Packed with energy and great people - both the members and staff. We are so happy we joined! Can't wait for the outdoor pool to open up. And along with that, the outside vendors - Via Genova will be returning I hope, hope, hope!!
Went as guest of friend who is member. Such a cool place! If I end up moving back into the area, I am definitely joining. Oh man, the cafe was amazing. Friendly people too. More than once, I found myself wandering and got turned around and it was both a member and an employee who came to my rescue (it's a big place!). Really a nice place.
Great club! Fitness center rocks. Wife loves exercise programs. Go check it out!
This club offers so much, from a variety of classes in fitness, tennis and swim to some of the nicest staff people around. No club is perfect. SMC never claims to be. But my friends and I who belong saw that one former member who was terminated from the club (and every other club she's tried to join) is writing negative and misleading information as some form of revenge. This recent reviewer must have been either an employee or one of the "preferred" members of the club. That was the problem I experienced. The level of service depended on how much money you spent. Also, beware of the wall street wives who are in a very nasty mood these days. Maybe that's the reviewer's case, ya think?
I Disagree strongly with the other reviewer. Sounds like someone got asked to leave or something, you think? I don't know others who feel that way about Saw Mill.Quite the opposite---tennis is hugely popular and very well attended by a wide mix of tennis players who enjoy the friendship and competition. This club pretty much has it all and is VERY friendly and service minded. Don't believe everything you read--find out yourself why so many people enjoy the value of this club
This just a great club that keeps getting better. People from a wide and diverse background create a community of like-minded health enthusiasts. Everyone I know loves the staff, facilities and service--the positives are just too numerous to mention.
Big Ripoff! This club is for the rich and famous. If you are not a lawyer or a doctor or a CEO, the management and staff treat you like you are invisible especially the director or tennis. I really resented this attitude since my blue collar money is just as green as the white collar member's money. They lost my business and I am now at Club Fit and loving it. Much nicer staff. Way overpriced! The gym is average and the pool is small. I found the tennis pros to be uninterested in giving me a pleasurable experience unless I took expensive lessons every week. The management was cold and unfriendly too. Parking is terrible but good yoga classes. Not impressed at all given the amount of money they charge. Try a trial membership first before spending too much. We belong to Club Fit now and love it!
