Wonderful tour - great food - fantastic tour guide!
For my birthday a few weeks ago a group of friends took me on the Gettysburg Savor Food Tour. We had a fabulous time. We are glad we came hungry as we were well satisfied with all the delicious food we tried. Even though we are locals we tried a few places we've never been before. By far the best part of our tour was our guide Gayle. She was so knowledgeable and more than witty. We learned so many things that we didn't know before about Gettysburg. We all highly recommend this tour. 5+ stars from us.
We were given this as a Christmas present last year and absolutely had a blast on this food tour! We enjoyed the new people we met, the restaurant staff and the tons of different styles of food that was set out for us and the great stories that our tour guide, Gayle Underwood, told us. She made it fun and interesting! Most of the restaurants that we went to were ones that were off the beaten path which gave us ideas for the next time we come to Gettysburg. My mother and I had such a great time on our food tour! Gayle, our tour guide, was so energetic and full of excitement, which made the tour that much better! She told us about the places we were eating and was very knowledgeable as we traveled around town. The food was amazing and I got to try places that I hadn't been to before (and we are locals!) We would 100% recommend this type of tour and are so glad that we were able to go!
