This doctor may be great at her job WHEN she actually does her job. Unfortunately, she completely ignores some of her patients taking a week to respond and often not responding at all. This has had a negative affect on my mother's care and medication.
I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for Dr. Savitha-Elam Kootil. She is not only an incredible physician, but a compassionate advocate and skilled care coordinator. Dr. Kootil literally saved my husband's life by urging him to see his dermatologist about a suspicious mole which turned out to be melanoma. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kootil for over 15 years; she is very thorough, kind, thoughtful, and does extensive follow-up on treatment plans. She is truly one of the best physicians around. Kaiser is very fortunate to have her on staff.
Dr Kootil has been my primary physician for several years. She is always proactive and supportive with my healthcare needs. She gives great advice on care management.
