I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kootil. She is very understanding, compassionate, and genuinely takes the time to listen to your concerns and problems without making you feel rushed. Her outstanding knowledge and expertise is truly impressive, and she will explain things clearly and thoughtfully. I felt heard, respected, and confident in the care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Kootil to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and attentive physician.
This doctor may be great at her job WHEN she actually does her job. Unfortunately, she completely ignores some of her patients taking a week to respond and often not responding at all. This has had a negative affect on my mother's care and medication.

Dr. Kootil literally saved my husband's life by urging him to see his dermatologist about a suspicious mole which turned out to be melanoma. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kootil for over 15 years; she is very thorough, kind, thoughtful, and does extensive follow-up on treatment plans. She is truly one of the best physicians around. Kaiser is very fortunate to have her on staff.
Dr Kootil has been my primary physician for several years. She is always proactive and supportive with my healthcare needs. She gives great advice on care management.
