Better than the "new" Cricco Since Cricco di Padre in River Edge changed their crust recipe from OUTSTANDING to TYPICAL, I started going to Savino's. I am so happy to report that the pizza is excellent, but I can only give them FOUR STARS instead of five, because Cricco set the mark for five-star pizza. Too bad the new owner cheaped-out! GO TO SAVINO'S!
what you'd expect Savino's is pretty much what you'd expect from a North Jersey pizzaria. I've had better pizza from other places, but Savino's is good in a pinch or in a hurry. They have a lot of toppings to choose from, and they deliver.
over-rated People rave about their pizza, but I see nothing special. The pizza is dry and tasteless. The service, however, was very fast but the price was definitely worth more than the satisfaction the food provided.
Greatest pizza We have ordered from Savino's many times at work. Their vegetable pizza is fantastic! The other pizzas that they offer are great, and the salads, entrees are excellent. They deliver quickly too.
Quick Delivery Savino's is pretty good compared to other pizzerias in the area - They have a good selection of toppings and they deliver pretty quick. Prices are pretty good too. They make a good antipasto salad.
