Nice items but... Savers is a thrift store but in my opinion, not very thrifty. Although they do tend to carry some nicer, higher end items, the prices can be a little steep. Even for items that are very much used (show a lot of wear). Not to mention I have had to deal with a rude employee a time or two. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you can find a decent deal here, just not as often as you would hope. PROS: Some higher end items CONS: Steep prices

Junk squared I do not like Savers at the Springfield plaza. I have tried it there several times and now will not be going back. Junk, junk, junk. Things weren't even clean. I can't tolerate that. I much prefer Salvation Army or Good Will to this. Actually, I prefer any other consignment shop in the greater Springfield area to this. I even prefer wearing my same old clothes to this. Savers in Springfield Plaza Better than any other thrifty store I was very happy with savers since the first time I went there. Their prizes are very good. I like it when they announce half price of the color of tickets that they say. And they are very organized. Not like other places that you don't even know where to look for your size. Keep up the good job. My expectations were met very well. And I will keep on going there. I would recommend this store to anybody.

2 star reviews are crazy! This place rules! just one example of why this store is the best place I've EVER shopped....I bought a pair of Mezlan men's dress shoes for $12.99 the other day. They couldn't have been worn more that 10 times, and most likely the wear was indoors. These shoes are virtually flawless. Based on my quick internet research at the Mezlan webpage, I estimate that this pair of shoes retails for $250-$300. Nuf said.

My new love affair I am a clothes horse and have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old daughter who is growing by leaps and bounds. I went to Savers recently (Sunday October 12th) for a Halloween Costume and left with a beautiful Talbot's sweater for myself for only 2.99. Well the costume was too small and I returned it the next day (Monday, the 13th) and all the blue tag clothes were .99 cents. What started off as a 5 minute trip took me almost two hours because I scoured the store for blue tags and ended up buying over $300.00 worth ... read more
