A Must Visit Save Mor is a beautiful jewelry & antique store! A MUST visit when in Mankato! My Aunt comes all the way from Colorado several times a year and we always are sure to stop down to Save Mor to see what they have! It's always full of treasures, everyone is sure to find something they love! They buy silver & gold too at top dollar! Staff is very friendly - been in the business a long time! I would go here before any of the other "chain" stores.
Save Mor Save Mor is located in a victorian building off of Madison Ave, and may be a bit trickly to find. It has a antique feeling inside, and the employees are very knowledgeable.
Do Not Recommend. Will Not Return. Do not buy or sell from this business.They are shady. The first time I visited was back in 2005. I wanted an appraisal on an antique ring. They took the ring from me for almost two weeks.When I returned to pick up the ring and appraisal they informed me the stone was fake and gave me a written receipt stating the gold setting was worth almost $400. I held on to the ring, called my Mom who gifted me the ring as it was her mothers.She was in shock that they said the stone was fake. In 2012 I ... read more
lacking diamond knowledge I was very surprised after my recent visit to save mor. I have heard they had a very experienced team at this location but I would have to disagree. Their knowledge about jewelry really lacked. I would not recommend save mor for diamond services. However I would recommend them for fashion jewelry and such, they had a wide variety of fashion jewelry.
