I came here before the renovations and thought it was hip then, now it's even more beautiful which is hard to conceive :)
My favorite "go to" spot in Ann Arbor. I live in North Carolina, work in A2 two to three times a week, and make this spot a regular on my trips. Creative and fun food and atmosphere.
Unfortunately my experience was not what I had hoped for. The five of us came in for a 2:00 reservation. First, I had to go back to the hostess stand to ask for our waiter/waitress. I guess they do a shift change at that time and no one communicated from the morning shift to the day shift. Ordered the table potatoes, only to be told after the order was placed and ready to be served they were out of them. Alrighty, guess no one else for the remainder of the day can order these...hmmm. Food came out cold, it wasn't even that great. Got the steak and friesesettie or whatever it is. It's a 2 dollar tough steak on a pile of Steak and Shake french fries with some pesto sauce. Really small over priced portions. Servers were nice but slow. And the food was cold!! Do yourself a favor go to Five Guys.
