Slow but good If you go, make sure you have reservations otherwise you will end up waiting for quite a long time at their really nice bar (which really isn't a bad thing ;-) ). We had great filet mignon and the service, although a bit slow, is otherwise very nice and helpful.
Great upscale steak/chop house Savannah has a great bar with live music, drawing a local crowd of regulars. Dining room (although you can eat in the bar too) is very stylish. Very professional wait staff. Exceptional wine list. Large portions.
Great steakhouse I have had a couple of excellent meals here and I would go more often if I lived closer. They have some great steaks, good wine selection and everything else is also very good. The bar service is excellent -- I had my first "blue-cheese-stuffed olive" martini here. There is a patio area with a nice view.
Reservations are a must! We went to Savannah for Valentines Day, however upon making the reservation we were not told there was a set menu. Once we got over the price shock, we did have a delicious meal! Since the reservation we had was early, we sat alone on the patio and enjoyed the sunset. An amazing view! Our server was very pleasant and was eager to accommodate our requests for substitutions. Since it was Valentines Day, I was given a rose as well as a $25 gift card to use on our next visit. awesome We love Savannahs. It's our favorite restaurant. It has been great every time we've been there except once, and that was a holiday. We sit in the bar every time for dinner. great atmosphere, and music.
