I'd give 5+ if I could. Dr. Mark Winchell is the best orthopedic surgeon not only in Savannah but Georgia. He's replaced both of my hips 16 years ago and they're as if I was born with them. Just had a total knee replacement by Dr Winchell and only a day and a half hospital stay. I highly recommended Dr Winchell for and orthopedic procedure.
The best...a real person..not just a dr...a life changer..
Dr. Winchell staff is very kind and courteous and sweet. He is a thorough doctor and while he tries to figure out what and where the pain may be coming from that you have. But the wait time sometimes is ridiculously long if you have a 8:30 appointment you should not still be sitting there at 10:30. Tux is a wonderful service dog.
I have been a patient of Dr Winchell's since 2002. He has repaired my left shoulder bicep tendon, total right knee replacement in 2015, and this year he did my total left knee. My family and I trust Dr Winchell with our care and his expertise. Winchell understands RA and how damaging it has become for me and has treated me with respect and caring. Dr. Mark Windchill and his staff are wonderful he was my doctor for years and he did surgery on my knee in April and had no problems he did a great job and I recommend him for all your bone and joint problem thank you Dr. Mark Windchill
The doctor did not listen to anything i was trying to explain to him and he rushed me out of his office feeling the same way i felt when I walked out twice!!!
Wonderful staff and a very knowledgeable and straight forward doctor. The office dog is pretty badass too!
I originally saw Dr. Winchell for issues with my knee replacement. Unfortunately I extended my visits with him by running in the rain and trying to catch my fall which ended in a broken ulna and radius. He had to perform surgery two weeks later to correct the shift of my bones. I am two weeks post op and everything seems to be going well!
