Extremely disappointed in Savage Arms Axis II Precision (30-06) and the lack of customer service. Best groups I can possibly achieve with this is about 1.4 MOA with the best off the shelf ammo. Meanwhile I can consistently shoot sub MOA with same optics on a cheap semi-auto 22LR Ruger @ 100yds. I can shoot a 50 year old Remington 30-06 hunting rifle about 1.1 MOA. I purchased a 300AAC long rifle from Savage arms for a little under $1000.00. When I went to use it, the rounds stuck in the magazine and would only chamber the first round. I called Savage and advised them of the problem. They sent me another magazine and the same problem occurred. They said send the magazine and the gun to them. I told them it was not a gun problem since it chambered the first round perfectly, it was a magazine problem. Also it would cost me $150.00 to send the gun and they would not send a return label. What a miserable experience calling in to customer service. If i knew it was going to be like pulling teeth to get help, I never would have purchased my Savage rifle. Really regretting my purchase now and I haven't even shot the rifle.
