unprofessional, unfriendly staff, nurses on 2nd floor lack compassion, one night shift supervisor didn't seem to know anything(no answers to important questions), uncaring DON and the nursing home administrator lacks common sense
lacking friendliness, empathy, compassion and communication towards patients and their families.
There’s one nurse in particular who has very bad bedside manners I’m not saying all of them but this one in particular is very nasty with her patient care. Which made me very uncomfortable with the care that she will be having with my loved one
This review is specifically about the care received for rehab and dementia care for my mother who had a hospital stay at Lankenau and needed rehab. She also has mid-stage dementia. While the actual rehab services appeared to be great (physical and occupational therapy), the actual care was terrible and Saunders House itself seemed to us to be very poorly run. Love it going to recommend it to Mom .
Very unexpected. Many staff members are very friendly. My mother has been here almost two weeks, they just called yesterday to do a care plan next Tuesday. There has been nothing, and most nursing staff are uniformed of my mothers condition. She has fallen twice, is left in a wheel chair at the nursing station, had to be rushed to Lankenau as she was found unresponsive.
