I went to ER for a swollen leg, it was as big as an elephant leg. I found out I had a lymph node pushing against a vein in my leg. I had a discussion with the very knowledgeable, and very compassionate IR team, and decided to have a procedure where a stent is placed in the vein to reduce the swelling. I cannot express enough gratitude to the IR team for doing this procedure. I no longer have a swollen leg, and the pain is gone. I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone who has a swollen leg!
My Mom had gallstones surgery performed by Dr. Saud Ahmed in the IR Department at Ingalls Hospital and everything went smoothly. Dr. Ahmed explained in simple language what the procedure would entail and what to expect when we had the IR consultation with him prior to the procedure. Dr.Ahmed did a wonderful job!!! I'm so greatful for having the UFE procedure it was a blessing. I had fibroids along with heavy bleeding it was a nightmare. Until I met Dr.Ahmed he is very passionate about his work. His care team is amazing everyone made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I thank God for meeting Dr.Ahmed!!! This is a great option for anyone that is experiencing issues with fibroids and heavy bleeding. Dr. Ahmed is the perfect person to choose!!!
