It was OK. The appetizers were great, but the ribs were tough and didn't have a whole lot of meat on them. Service was hit and miss; one waiter was amazing, but the other waitress wasn't anywhere near his skill.
Deep fried pickles were to die for. Mmm! Wait staff was friendly. Food was yummy. Simple menu. This was our first visit after our basketball tournament. Have always wanted to stop but couldn't or they were closed at the time I was driving through. Food was great. We'll definitely be returning.
The food is always hot and fresh. We got a nacho special half order and 2 of us could have eaten it and been full. One of the best places for beef brisket.
I would probably pay a king's ransom for onion rings this good. Thankfully, I don't have to. My philosophy of restaurant quality (also called the Onion Ring Standard) took some time to develop, but it first began here, at Saucy Dog's Barbecue in Jonesville, MI.
