My experience with Dr. Nicola Sater was shocking and devastating. I was admitted to local hospital near Spring Valley during the time that I met with her. She was abrasive and uncaring. She sat throughout the sessions with a cold stare at the middle distance between us at first and at one point just turned away from me and stared out the window. She took no notes. I had Dr. Sater while I was in Sibley Hospital. She was the worst psychiatrist I have ever had. She wasn't the least bit empathetic, she was impossible to talk to, and she challenged my integrity by accusing me of cheeking my meds and also accusing my boyfriend of sneaking in meds (neither of which happened). She should not be a practicing psychiatrist. BEWARE!!!!
