Engine light came on with poor acceleration. Scanner diagnosed a cylinder misfiring. Tom said replacement of spark plugs and a coil would fix it for ~$300. Bill was $457 for plugs and coil. He said he thought he'd given $400 estimate, but that he must have omitted labor cost. I assume it was an honest mistake based on reviews here. We questioned it with mild protest, but could afford it, and didn't want ugly scene. He didn't offer any discount for his >50% estimate mistake. I would have stood by my word, but that's me. Satch Works is by far the best auto mechanic in the area. They are fast, reliable and most importantly, trustworthy. I’m so glad I got a second opinion from them about repairs and some maintenance updates needed for my vehicle.
