I’ve been seeing Dr. Selk for over a dozen years for cortisone shots in various joints. He is very skilled at what he does. My husband saw him for EMG’s in his legs. He got him into an MRI with 2 weeks & then into a surgeon within 2 weeks. Most recently, Dr. Selk referred me to his associate, Dr. Houde for cortisone shots in my lumbar spine. Dr. Houde was just as knowledgeable & skilled as Dr. Selk. Both Dr’s have incredible bedside manner & take time to discuss your condition & your options.
3 cancelled appointments with no explanation. pushed back my treatment 9 weeks now. Dr. Houde, treat your patients better. quit changing the schedules of disabled people
An absolute failure of communication and basic patient consideration. They called me this morning offering to fit me in earlier than my scheduled time. I clearly told them I was all the way across the city and would rush over as fast as traffic allowed—yet no strict arrival time like "10:30" was ever communicated to me. I hit traffic and arrived at 10:39, only to be told on the spot that I was "late" and that they were cancelling me entirely.
