So I called there yesterday trying to make an appointment with my son’s family doctor. I was asked his name the reason for appointment and then she asked to put me on hold for five minutes. I said okay. Then she takes me off hold 5 minutes later and it was like I wasn’t even on the phone and she answered it. Today I got attitude from another lady and hung up . If you have a doctor that works out of there . You are giving an appointment. I use the pharmacy at the back three times per week. They have awesome medical staff. Yes are quite busy . I guess that's were the lack of open door comes from.
This place used to be an example in patient centred care, literally written up and spoken of in lectures to health providers in training. Since they moved from their former location beside friendship inn, they have become steadily less patient centred and more hostile and unaccommodating and unaccountable. Process for seeing a doctor isn’t clear , or changes every couple months. For a while it was “all walk ins”, then “book by phone for an appointment time today or tomorrow” and you can’t book ahead for a regular doctor apt ... read more
The staff are so amazing and knowledgeable, security is amazing too.
