Arrived at ER on Nov. 20 with new swelling and bruising on one foot after a fall earlier in the week. Quick triage and wonderful care from all the nursing and admin staff. Six hours from arrival to departure. CT scan showed Lis-Franc injury with fractures. Dr. Pearson was extremely busy but still took the time to explain fully what that type of injury meant (possible screws/pins and plate) and was quick to obtain an ortho consult. Clean , organized and reasonable wait times.
The ER refused to let me in with symptoms of a heart attack, ~5 minutes before the closing time so they were supposed to be taking in new patients. Doors were closed, security blocked the way, after asking the ER staff told me I should go somewhere else. Someone finished their shift early by putting my life at risk - never visiting this hospital again
