Arrived at ER on Nov. 20 with new swelling and bruising on one foot after a fall earlier in the week. Quick triage and wonderful care from all the nursing and admin staff. Six hours from arrival to departure. CT scan showed Lis-Franc injury with fractures. Dr. Pearson was extremely busy but still took the time to explain fully what that type of injury meant (possible screws/pins and plate) and was quick to obtain an ortho consult.
