I was once dr Taleban patient I saw him 2 times in the 3 or more years I was his “patient” then he passed me off to his intern who I went to for about a year up until I was supposed to start iv meds. Then apparently the intern quits and all the meds I was supposed to get went out the door. Then dr Taleban tells me I need a colonoscopy. Which my fistulas prevent me from being able to get. Dr. Taleban is a top-notch physician. He's highly professional, skilled, and kind. I requested specific modifications for my procedures, and he respected my autonomy. I'm really grateful he's the GI doc I saw - I think you are fortunate to benefit from his expertise. The entire staff at the Banner endoscopy department are quite wonderful, from Ramona in scheduling, to the nurses who did their jobs so well, and with compassion. Many thanks.
Worst gastrointestinal doctor ever. The guy looks up your rectum only as far as his instruments allow and if he doesn’t see Crohn’s he will tell that you don’t have active Crohn’s instead of trying to get to the root of the problem. I’ve had this disease since I was 9 and highly recommend that if you have Crohn’s or UC that you seek a more professional gastrointestinal doctor. Clearly his ego is as his as his medical education. Dr. Taleban was highly recommended so it was disappointing that his patient interaction was so rude and condescending. He felt the need to reprimand me for not knowing medication that I was given 20yrs ago and stated that at 42yrs old I should have personal detailed records of my medical history since I move around alot. I have been in Missouri all my adult life and have only moved the last 2yrs.
