I recommend Dr. Saro Avakian, as he really pays attention to his patient, carefully checking all test results and indicators, explains options, and provides important information, while listening to any points addressed by the patient. His staff are professional and responsive.
I have never in my life been more disappointed in a Medical Doctor than I am with Avakian and his staff. I am so very displeased with the service I received and how poorly they reacted. I will neve return to this office as as long as I live. I have contacted the people I should to complain and I will pursue the issue, they made so many mistakes with me and never once returned a phone call or email that I sent. One of the best doctors I’ve ever met. He is thorough, knowledgeable, kind and caring. He listens to me and explains. I’ve had though times during my illness and he has given me hope and has made me smile. His staff also care, one in particular who worked hard so I could get my medication approved by my insurance and called me along the process to give me updates.
My husband couldn’t even make an appointment because of how rude and inconsiderate the receptionist who answered the phone was. Kept him on hold for 10 minutes only to tell him there is nothing available till August! 10 minutes!!!

Please understand that our staff handle multiple phone lines, and are trained to place the calls on hold or give appointments based on the urgency of patient's medical needs. I have discussed this incident with our staff and reviewed the phone handling and scheduling policies with them. My mom and I are Dr. Avakian’s patients. I have been mostly getting annual check ups with him, and I have been happy because the Dr. has been on top of my preventative care and screenings. My mom has many chronic diseases and the Dr. and his staff have been great taking care of her and being accessible. During my mom’s hospitalization, Dr. Avakian was on top of things and basically saved her life. Highly recommending.
Dr. Avakian has been my primary care physician for 5 years. He is one of the most professional, caring and knowledgeable doctors I’ve known. I’m a pharmacist so I have high expectations when it comes to medical personnel and Dr. Avakian has shown me time and time again how clinically knowledgeable he is with all disease states and how aggressively he treats diseases and conditions for the better of his patients. More importantly, Dr. Avakian is really passionate with his medical care.
I highly recommend Dr Saro Avakian to everyone!the customer service here is outstanding! I absolutely love Dr Saro ,he is such a kind and genuine Doctor that truly cares for your health/well being. Most importantly he is so knowledgeable!and anytime you need to make an emergency appointment they truly help you out!in one word He is the most patience and smartest Dr I have ever seen!!Thanks for being such an Amazing Dr Saro Avakian!!!
