Taking mall food to a new low – I tried this place once because I was at the mall on other business. Never again. I got shrimp and mushroom yakisoba, which consisted of a bunch of cabbage, noodles, mushrooms and tiny shrimp tossed onto the grill and barely steamed through while being drenched in oil and flavorless sauce. Freshly cooked Japanese cuisine in a mall. – Sarku Japan & sushi bar offer a wide array of sushi products hand prepared and made to order for each customer. They also do fresh chicken, beef, seafood and fresh garden vegetables, all prepared on a Teppanyaki griddle right in front of you. The prices are very good and the Manager at the Washington Square store cares about the quality of the food.
