I just ate the most delicious pastry I have ever had. The ham and cheese croissant tasted so buttery and it was so flaky. And, the price was reasonable! Skip the chain bakeries and come here! Also, they are always so nice and show my kids the big mixers. It is fascinating!
My favorite easy spot to take out a hearty, yummy lunch. Great soups, hearty homemade sandwiches, and fresh salads with delicious pita. Always something new on the menu!
I love this place! It's so affordable and every single treat I've had there has been amazing, from the sweet treats to the savory stuff! It's within walking distance of the mall and the med school, so it's really in a lovely spot for lunch, and the environment inside the bakery is so clean and bright and lovely! Sarkozy’s is Kalamazoo’s iconic bakery with a richly deserved reputation for first class baked goods as well as First-class soups, salads, and sandwiches. This month’s specials are Buttercream Donuts and Packi (Punchki). I made a trip from Chicago to sample these delights, and had a lovely lunch of delicate and hearty borschch with their always perfect Polliwanzaa crackers , Palestinian Hand pies, and the most amazing chocolate fudge brownie with walnuts. Judy is a fantastic owner and member of the community! The bakery has yet t disappoint! Amazing baked goods all day long. Love their lunch croissants as well! Come and support this local iconic bakery and establishment!
They don't always have what I can use but they are always very patient, helpful and kind, and there are other choices. Excellent products.
Haven't found a single thing that we don't LOVE! Especially loving the Kalamazoo Sourdough this week!
