Unfortunately, our experience with Hovav and their administration was very disappointing and disheartening. We had been trying to be seen through Lyra and waited almost 60 days for an appointment, only for it to be canceled by Sarah before we were able to receive care. I started working with Dr. Hovav during COVID. From the beginning, she focused not just on medication, but on giving me real coping skills, tools, and psychoeducation to understand what was happening in my body and mind. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hovav for a little over a year(i think) and I’ve never been more taken care of. She has walked me through all of my questions and helped me find medications that work for me(and some vitamins that have helped my sleep) she listens to all of my concerns and offers me options rather than telling me what I have to do. I greatly appreciate her and highly recommend her services!

Dr. Hovav is practically knowledgeable and I am sure can be productive for some people. However, her arrogance and emphasis on the medical model led more to her self centered disclosure/rant about how talented she is, how she fought lawmakers to prevent APRN’s from practicing med management, and essentially disqualified the work I had done with APRN’s prior to meeting with her.
