You would have to be a fool to retain this firm for anything except a Kangaroo court. Mr. Sargeant and his employees made.multiple mistakes with our sale, done by proxy and long distance. Ultimately, his firm's oversight was directly responsible for the omission of $1100/of fees payable to us. When contacted about his firms errors, his solution was to deny, blame others, and become pugnacious. The review above about yelling is completely realistic. Recommended by my realtor. I called to inquire about my closing date on 2 different occasions in the same week. I was transfer to voicemail both times. Never received a call back. I called a 3rd time in the same week finally got a real person. When I explained that I called twice and left messages both times they claimed I never called or left any messages. When I asked my other questions they were short and nasty with me. And rushed like they had other things to do and hung up on my without answering my question. I will not... read more

My experience with Sargent & Collins was positive. They represented me three times in real estate transactions for the past five years. The initial contact with Nicholas Sargent was always brief: I briefly explain my need to the secretary, Nicholas returns my call in the same business day, we speak about property and the contract and he gives me a quote. I contacted Nick Sargent with a question and he blew up at me. When I asked him why he was yelling at me he said " I have to answer too many of these stupid questions every day." Very unprofessional, I would not recommend this place to anyone!

This business doesn't deserve any stars. We thought they were representing us when we did our refi. They helped MT bank overcharge us for points and some other services. They rushed us through the closing, including interrupting it so they could take care of another client, forgot to have us sign some of the paperwork so that my wife had to leave work a 2nd time that day, then told her they were representing both us and the bank. That Sargent and Collins is a great place if you need someone to assist you in scamming an old lady. Recently a 92-year old lady, who 3 specialists confirms that she was not compitent, went into Sargent and Collins office, with a realtor from Hunt Realty. That realtor assisted her son in scamming that 92-year old lady out of a huge piece of her land, so her son can profit.
