This has been one the absolute best chocolate shops in the Bay Area. It's a very sad day to have to say goodbye to Mary Loomas and Saratoga Chocolates. Mary I hope that some day you find your way back to creating your incredible chocolates. I for one am grateful for having had the opportunity to work for you even if just for a short time. Chocolate will never be the same...........�

The Series I class was fantastic! It covered every step in making handrolled truffles from selection of chocolate, making ganache for the centers, tempering chocolate, forming and dipping the truffles and decorating them. This was a hands-on class. Each participant tempered two batches of chocolate on their own for practice as well as performing all of the other steps.
