Dr. Raju is an excellent urogynecolgist. I’m 72 and he is the best doctor I have had. Explains everything so well.
Awful experience. My female dr did not listen at all, and prescribed me birth control even after I told her I’ve tried 4 other birth controls for my issues and it’s never helped. She had mris and ultrasound images of my chicken egg sized cyst on my ovary, and still said she wanted to “see if she could feel it” for whatever reason..which hurt like hell and made me feel like she was trying to rupture it herself, she did not care about my pain, refused to help me with that. Despite multiple efforts in trying to get scheduled with someone from Sarasota OBGYN at any of their practices, my wife and I have given up. We have called over a dozen times and filled multiple forms out online, and no communication from any of their offices. Very sad for the doctors in that practice.
I was referred to Sarasota OBGYN about a month ago. Since then, I have called 17 times, left several voice messages, AND submitted 3 online appointment requests. Despite the recording on the phone saying they'll call back within 24hrs, I have yet to hear from anyone from any of their locations. Don't bother trying trying. They won't call or return any email correspondence.
Very unprofessional. I take time off work, arrive at 10am for a 10:15am appointment. The door is locked. I call to find out no one is in the Venice office today even though they called me Friday to confirm my appointment.
