My wife currently has CSF in order to get surgery to repair this life threatening situation she needs the lab results. They were submitted approximately 2.5 weeks ago. Yesterday she received a call from her doctor stating the SMH lab lost her results and we have to submit another. She has been on bed rest for a month and cannot get up without a raging headache. NEVER again will I attempt to get medical care from this facility! I was mis-diagnoised by Dr Angela Deak on a Sat. afternoon and went to my RNPN and MY doctor on the following Monday; where I was told of the correct medical issue. I have paid my part of billing for the Urgent Care and refuse to pay for the doctors mistake. There is no room for 'mistakes' in medical care! The billing office WITH proof of the error insist I pay my part...no I will not! I seriously suggest you make sure Dr Deak is not the person to care for ... read more

A relative had a bad experience with Riverside in Punta Gorda and when they needed help again a doctor recommended Bayside in Sarasota instead. NOT MUCH BETTER!! For one thing, she (relative) expressed the families concern with the intake nurse, so the nurse invited me back to have a private talk and bring up any concerns we had before she signed papers to be admitted. The nurse seemed to not really listen to my concerns, in 5 minutes she must have said "Well, let me get her to sign these papers" six times. Then after that... read more
