I'll tell you, I had worked at this place. I emptied their garbage. For the most part, a lot of businesses and residences alike respect the dirty work cleaning people do. They give you humble respect. This place just shoved more dirt in your face and if you're a customer, just beware it's not a very good environment. Even more so, this place was toxic. Nasty place to work for. Toxic. Can't say much for their fitness center other than it was old. Place seemed runndown but overblown. Worked for them and ran into discrimination. Pretentious pissant of a place and kind of a YMCA wannabe without the C.

Nasty place, nasty management, and nasty facility, you'd be better off going to Arlington Park Aquatic Center or Planet Fitness. This place is pretentious, greedy and godless. More over, as a working class wage earner, beware of managerial micro-aggression and blatant discrimination, particularly if you work for a company called Advance Cleaning.
I quit a custodial position working at SMH Health and Fitness Center due to discrimination. I also felt it was an oppressive environment and lacked professionalism. Apparently had turnover, too, probably due to morale problems. In essence, you just got a sense of this place trying to be something it wasn't and the people, what they weren't.
