I was on a culinary tour on February 21, 2020 and this was my third tour and the worst, the choice of restaurant was bad only one place offered decent food, the other two was very poor, very limited amount of serving for 10 people and the last place we couldn't get in because they were very busy, and I was glad because it was a bar. Our group of 4 people did not get our money's worth for the price we paid for the tour, my advice is, save your money, don't go on the tour.
We did the Venice Culinary tour with Terri and the Sarasota Farmer's market tour with Tommy. They were both fantastic. Terri did a wonderful job teaching us the history of Venice. And Tommy's passion about locally sourced ingredients was inspiring. I will definitely sign up for another tour next time I'm the area.
We did the Anna Maria Island food tour and loved it. The food was great and there was a wide variety of types of food and restaurants. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the island. Our guide, Susan, was great! Highly recommend!
We had the MOST amazing culinary tour and cannot wait to do it again! Recently we used Maggie and her team for our When She Happens networking lunch event and had the pleasure of experiencing a 90 minute tour of downtown Sarasota. Every bit of the tour was excellent and we HIGHLY recommend them. Not only did we learn interesting history about Sarasota, but all of the food was absolutely delicious too.
The food is amazing and loved the stories!
Really enjoyed the Downtown Sarasota Culinary Tour. The four food stops were diverse and the food was delicious with a nice selection of food. I will definitely go back to all four places. Our guide Daniel Milks was great!! Very informative with lots of interesting stories. Daniel was very considerate and you could tell how much he enjoys sharing Sarasota’s stories with others. I would highly recommend him and this tour. This was my first Key Culinary tour but now I can’t wait for my next one!!
Not just food, city history as well
Our daughters gave us a gift certificate for Xmas and we booked the St Armand’s tour. Daniel was great! The food was excellent, and the historical information beyond compare. We enjoyed it immensely! We highly recommend it, especially Daniel, so much fun!
Had a great tour with Jeni. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size. The restaurants and specialty shops were fantastic. So good we returned to one of them for dinner. Highly recommend. — with Carlotta Garza-Kilcullen.
