BEST BBQ IN TOWN!! We did a live BBQ event and chose Sara’s. Their food was amazing and the guests loved it. Sajjaad bhai kept clear communication prior to event to ensure we knew what to expect. His crew came in time to setup everything and delicious grilled food was served fresh to guests. As hosts, we loved it because Sajjaad bhai and his crew handled everything so it was headache free for us and food quality was amazing. We did grilled food, halwa puri, and CHAI. Definitely doing this for more future events!
Sara's Indian Cuisine is a gem for authentic flavors without breaking the bank. I tried the biryani and chicken 65—both were delicious, packed with spices and perfectly cooked. The wait time was super short for pickup, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great value for the quality; highly recommend for a quick, tasty Indian meal!
I'm giving the five stars so that this review comes on top. I got Biryani and Nihari from this establishment. 1. The problem was the Biryani was stale. I don't know how old it was. It looked like two or three days. It was not fresh. 2. The atmosphere was not that great. While back in the Chicago area, I had a taste for some Indian food. I came across Sara's Pakistani & Indian Cuisine. I'm glad I tried them. Although I did takeout, the atmosphere was great. I had a good conversation with the owner, who is very nice and friendly. I ordered the chicken biryani. It was really good but I had to make sure it wasn't too spicy before I left....lol If I'm ever in the area again, I will come back.
Rice is one of the cheapest possible things you can make, which makes it absolutely maddening that NONE of the entrees at Sara's come with rice. Not a single grain. If you want rice to go with your butter chicken, you'll have to cough up another $4-6 on top of already very high menu prices. Charging $18 for a chicken dish yet not including something as basic as plain white rice is devious; I've NEVER been to any other Indian/Asian restaurant where this is the case.
