I'm going to really miss this place. Excellent value for the size of the apartments, the beautiful rooftop, the unobstructed southern view (a rarity in NYC), and the great location. The doormen are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll meet, and I'm very much going to miss our daily interactions. They made my day every morning and made the Saranac feel like home for four years. Would highly recommend living here.

We've lived here for 4 years and finally could not stand it and we moved out. There is construction that starts at 7am every morning and wakes us up even when using earplugs! This construction was supposed to last 1 year, and here we are 3 years later with no end in sight. Much of the gym equipment doesn't work, the TVs are all broken, it's nothing like in the pictures (or even how it was 4 years ago), so definitely check it out before you sign a lease. I feel compelled to write a review for the Saranac. We lived here for 2 years and absolutely loved it. The super is very quick if there's ever an issue, the doorman are funny and kind, and our apartment was very quiet - a rare thing in NYC. We enjoyed our time here and had no complaints whatsoever.
