I originally booked a maternity session but ended up going into labor before my scheduled shoot. Thankfully, I was able to switch it to a newborn session—and I’m SO glad I did. She did an absolutely amazing job capturing such precious moments with my baby. She was so gentle and patient, and worked so well with my newborn to get the sweetest, most beautiful shots. Sarah is a baby whisperer! Before going into the session Sarah sent over very thorough instructions regarding what to expect during the session and asked questions, such as what color scheme we would like during the shoot so she can be prepared before we get there. She was amazing with our son throughout the entire session. He allowed her to place him in all poses and outfits, but at any point he started to fuss she had tricks up her sleeve; shushing app, but tapping pillow, and a portable room heater. Sarah is not only the best newborn photographer out there, but also a baby whispering wizard. Our sweet girl was very fussy the morning of her shoot, and Sarah took over and brought out all the stops to relax her into rest. The photos speak for themselves - they are beautiful. Not only is Sarah’s creativity unmatched but she is a great person to work with. She was patient with my little one who decided to have a melt down the day of and helped put us all at ease (and a smile on my daughter’s face) in what could have been a stressful situation. We have used her multiple times for our family shoots and will continue to use her in the future! 5+ stars for sure!!
