Dr. Is great! She has a wonderful bedside manner. There is a wait to see her. I expected that as a new patient. What I didn’t anticipate is waiting 4 months then getting a call to cancel and push my appointment back another month. I had another appointment that needed to see a doctor and it happened again. I had to switch practices. It seems this practice doesn’t have the bandwidth to support the number of patients on her caseload.
First appointment went good. Second is a nightmare. The second test they did was supposed to be next day result, well I didn’t get a results a week later. Then they called me to let me know in the morning that same day as they called to send me my prescription….. well guess what they didn’t. Just was a big waste of my time of waiting for test result or waiting in line trying to get prescription what never was sent. Today was my third annual exam appointment with Dr. Deighton Collins. This was the third time she was extremely late. My appointment was at 9:45. By 11:00 she still hadn't come in the room. While I liked this doctor the two times I actually saw her, I am very frustrated by this apparent disregard for patients' wait times. I don't know if its a scheduling problem with the office or an issue with time management on the part of the doctor, but I will not be back for a fourth visit. Very disappointing experience.
I really like the doctor but in the middle of trying to set up my daughter as a new patient I was providing a phone number and the receptionist cut me off and said hold on I need to check a patient out I'll put you on hold! Why not let me finish and ask if I can be put on hold?
She's the best doctor I've ever had. I have endometriosis and have gone to a few doctors for it but none are like her.
