I will keep it brief, I loved having Dr. Burke as my OB. She was thorough, kind, and straightforward. I felt supported and well cared for through my pregnancy and birth. She performed my C-section and I had a wonderful experience considering how scary surgery can be. I can’t thank her enough.
I had been having a horrible time trying to get awful hip and back pain diagnosed with another establishment. I go in for a Pap smear with abnormal tissue results. After a YEAR of painful tests they tell me I have a patch of cervical cancer and try to schedule a cervical loop. I end up with horrendous back pain and go to the Enloe ER, after an MRI they find a huge cyst on my left ovary and refer me to Dr. Burke. Dr Burke is wonderful! Very straightforward, knowledgeable, a skilled OB surgeon. She has a realistic, level-headed approach to all things pregnancy-related. Pregnancy can be a worrisome, tense, question-filled period of time, and Dr Burke is comforting, patient, and makes sure you leave informed and at ease about what’s coming next.
