Great lunch We have driven by a million times and finally had lunch there on the recommendation of 3 different people. Service was very friendly, food was excellent and a good value. The place has a dark wood interior, but it's not creepy. ice tea is brewed and they left the carafe on the table for refills
1970's decor and food Avoid this place! I live near by and pass by daily on my work commute. One night my husband and I went in for dinner. It's expensive--around $20+ pp and my husband's steak smelled like dog. My clam strips were all breading. The place is DARK inside; we had to sit by the windows to even see our menus! We don't consider ourselves picky people either. Save your money and go some place yummy in Somerville.
Dark and stuffy Sarah Jane's Restaurant in Somerville NJ food has a dark and stuffy enviornment. Although a friend of mine had recommended the restuarant because she had enjoyed her experience, I found the wait staff was disinterested and unfriendly. The food was certainly overpriced.
